Haunted Mansion Collectibles Recouts 24 Hours with Imagineer

This is so cool!!! Sam and Carrie over at Haunted Mansion Collectibles recount, over several posts, the Doombuggies.com event that they attended where they were able to spent time with Disney Legendary Imagineers. This is a long one, but boy is it neat. I wish I had been there but I was content to live vicariously with the excellently written post.

Haunted Dimensions

OK, I know that I have a Haunted Mansion problem but this is just cool. Ray Keim has built CGI versions of the mansions. Enjoy!

Jim Hill Talk about Stardardized Scrips for the Haunted Mansion

Jim Hill writes about how the North American Parks are going to standardize the scripts followed by cast members at the Haunted Mansion. Apparently some guests felt the some of the lines that were said like, "Kindly drag your wretched bodies into the dead center of
the room!" were inappropriate. One of the great things about the Mansion is the cast members ad-libbing. We'll have to see what the Imagineers come up with for CMs to say.

Jim Hill Media

This is a more commercial site but Jim Hill writes some very interesting, often insider, articles. He recently wrote a five part series on the new refurb of the Haunted Mansion. He also writes about current 'toons and broadway.

The Haunted Mansion at Daveland

Dave runs a number of fabulous sites in homage to his favorite attractions but this one happens to be my favorite because it is dedicated to my favorite attraction, the Haunted Mansion. We will be featuring a number of his sites over the coming weeks. Enjoy! and keep those nominations for cool sites coming in.
