Disneyland's Monorail ride is getting an updated set of cars, to be delivered in February. The new Mark IV cars will have bench seats that face the windows. Outside the monorail car, the lead car will have blue glass with red stripes that change color in the sunlight. Other cars on the train will be blue with purple glass or orange with blue glass. I can't wait to see what these look like. Capacity will remain at 145 passengers per train. Disneyland's monorail travels along a 2.5 mile track with stops in Tomorrowland and Downtown Disney.
Concept art for the new trains can be seen at Monorails.org.
