Disney Interactive and Disney (partnered with Verizon) are now offering new gaming for customers. Customers of Verizon's FiOS TV, FiOS Internet and High Speed Internet are being offered what is billed as "the ultimate on-screen and online Disney Channel Games." Games are based on the shows as well as MPG (multi player gaming) and TV show previews. The main video content will feature footage taken at the Disney Channel Games filmed earlier this year. Kids and families will be able to watch interviews and the actual games participated in by their favorite Disney Channel stars. This content will be available at the end of this month.
Disney Interactive Studios has announced "Disney Sing It." It is a karaoke game featuring Disney songs. The game will feature hits from High School Musical, Camp Rock, Ali and AJ, Miley Cyrus and the Jonas Brothers. The game will be released in time for the holiday season. (Are we really talking about the holidays already?) Aspiring singers can just perform, perform with video, do duets, and compete against other players. The game will be available on all of the major gaming formats with bonus content available for Xbox LiveOnline and Playstation Network.
