DizNews: HSM3 on Top and WSJ thinks Disney should buy EA...
For the second weekend in a row, Disney’s High School Musical 3 was the number one movie in America. The movie made $15 million this weekend. Mark Zoradi, president of the Walt Disney Studios Motion Picture Group, publicly speculated this weekend that there will be a fourth installment of the franchise.
The Wall Street Journal’s Saturday “Heard on the Street” column suggested that Disney purchase Electronic Arts, commonly known as EA Games, known for the popular Madden Football games for gaming systems. Apparently the company’s stock is down and the WSJ suggested this would be a way for Disney to maintain revenue during the recession and get the company less expensively before stocks rebound.
