DizNews:
First, friend of the Dose Ricky Brigante of Orlando Attractions Magazine, sent along this link to an example of one of the castle suite promotions that Disney and Martha Stewart are offering.
Thanks Ricky!
Another Slow News Day Today...So, for those of you, like me, who did not make it to Mousefest this year, here is a roundup of the trip reports. Read’em
and weep...Sounds like it was a great time!
Grumpwurst over at Grumpy’s Hollow has some of the most detailed and photo intensive reports.
Deb’s Digest at AllEars.net - this report includes the land and sea portions and starts with this post.
Ryan at Main Street Gazette is always one of my favorites.
Collin Carol’s take over at They Disney Blog.
Broke Hoedown: Jen of Those Darn Cats presents her own take. It a bit more of grown-up perspective.
Finally, this one is NOT MOUSEFEST..Instead it is Anna Skamarakas’ account of her amazing training weekend at Walt Disney World after being chosen for the Walt Disney World Mom’s Panel. There is some grownup language on this one.
Trivia Teaser: Which Imagineer was given the title “Dollmaker to the World”?
Previous Teaser Answer: Which Imagineer is honored with Harper’s Mill on Tom Sawyer Island named after him?
Harper Goff - He is responsible for much of the “look” of Disneyland and the Magic Kingdom. He was born in Fort Collins, Colorado, and though much of the inspiration credit for Main Street USA is given to Marceline MO, many of the buildings are inspired by downtown Fort Collins.
World Wide Disney: Kevin Kidney has a great post with photos of the 1977 planning for the Very Merry Christmas Parade. I especially liked the photos of the scale model replicas of the floats.
WDW Weather: Sunny. High of 74 F.
Disneyland Weather: Sunny. High of 70 F.
